Gift the Process
Give someone the unique gift of the full commissioned painting experience. They'll be involved every step of the way, receiving all the input privileges of a client. As the gift giver, you have the option to either pay in full up front, or follow the standard 40%-60% payment plan. All commission types can be gifted in this form. Prices are the same as for standard commissions, but gift givers may opt to include a revision budget as part of their gift, which will be refunded if the recipient does not make use of it.
As part of the experience, your recipient will receive a personalized gift certificate. See the example below of a gift certificate for an 18"x24" inch drawing of the recipient's dog. Names have been removed for privacy.
